Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada believes in the importance of investing in our children and youth’s futures, the national scholarships we have offered our members for many years are giving young people a chance, who might otherwise lack the opportunity to attend college or university. We are proud to help our children and youth achieve their potential and become tomorrow's leaders.
The Post-Secondary Scholarship program supported by Future Shop is currently undergoing a redesign phase, and as such Future Shop has asked us to develop a new model that will provide incentives to high school students to consider and plan for post-secondary education in their future.
To help with the transition from the old format to the new one, Future Shop will continue to offer 25 post-secondary scholarships during the 2010/2011 academic year! 2010 will mark the tenth consecutive year that Future Shop will be providing post-secondary scholarships to Boys and Girls Club members across the country. These scholarships assist youth in pursuing and accomplishing their educational goals, as they grow to become the leaders of tomorrow!
Each scholarship is valued at $4,000 and will consist of $3,000 in tuition to the post-secondary institution of the youth’s choice as well as a $1,000 Future Shop gift card to assist with the recipients studies!
