Unity Day will nourish young people’s sense of community, providing GTA Boys and Girls Club members with an opportunity for fun and games in an environment designed to teach them about the differences and similarities they share with other young people across the city.

Connecting children and youth from all over the GTA with one another, Unity Day is a fun way to bridge the gaps that currently exist between neighborhoods so each young person can meet, interact and build positive relationships with one another in a safe setting. Although these children and youth all come from different neighborhoods, backgrounds and circumstances, this one special day will help them feel important, accepted, supported, safe, secure – and most of all – connected.

Filled with fun activities including The Toronto Maple Leafs Fanzone, Microsoft Xbox activities, a Kraft Canada Cool Moves soccer clinic and plenty of sports and games.

Participating Boys and Girls Clubs:

  • Albion Neighbourhood Services Boys and Girls Club
  • Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough
  • Boys and Girls Club of West Scarborough
  • Braeburn Boys and Girls Club
  • Dovercourt Boys and Girls Club
  • Eastview (Toronto) Boys and Girls Club
