1. Create a digital art project on your own OR work in a team of no more than 4 Club members who are interested in working together to get creative, and learn about digital technology. (All team members must be within the same age category).
  2. Decide which digital project you’re going to create by choosing from one of the following 3 project categories (We will accept only one submission per individual or team in each of the 3 categories. There is no limit to the number of submissions each Club can enter.):

    Project Categories:

    • Digital Photography – Using three original photographs, create a brand new image through manipulation.  When submitting your entry, be sure to include your new creation and all three of the original photographs on a CD-ROM.
    • Web Design – Design a web site, using original content, on a theme of your choice.  The site must include a minimum of 3 pages to a maximum of 10 pages.
    • Open Category  – Design a digital project of your choice. You can make a digital movie or video , create your own music, or do a graphic design project.  The only limit is your imagination! Check out the Digital Ideas section of this site for help on getting started.
The staff at your club can help you with your projects. Ask them about the Cantech Digital Arts Suite: a set of 5 CD-ROMs (Photo Tech, Design Tech, Web Tech, Music Tech, and Movie Tech) we provided to every Club, which will show you step-by-step how to create fun digital art projects. Tech and program support is available from BGCC National Office by contacting Cantech Coordinator, John Jack.
