National Youth Council
Youth members have always been involved in some capacity with Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada (BGCC) as representatives of their Clubs and the voice of their generation.

The BGCC National Youth Council (NYC) is committed to providing representation for Boys and Girls Club youth, reflecting issues and goals from across the country, and ensuring youth input into national initiatives and activities. The NYC has been in existence for over 10 years and has enabled BGCC youth to plan and lead a national youth forum every two years.

National Youth Council members serve as ambassadors and role models for other children and youth throughout the organization and positively influence decision-making on issues related to young people. All NYC members receive training on their specific areas of interest, engage with a variety of adult experts and participate in the National Youth Forum.

Latest news:

The NYC worked together to write a letter of support to the youth of Attawapiskat First Nation.
