Parents Together is an example of the types of support programs offered by many Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada. The Parents Together program, established in British Columbia in 1988, is an education and support program for parents who are experiencing challenges while parenting a teen. Participants learn strategies that can potentially improve relationships, decrease conflict in the home, and improve communication within their family. Parents also most importantly learn that they are not alone in their parenting challenges. This is all provided in a confidential, non-judgemental environment.
Parents Together is currently offered at the following locations in British Columbia. If you are interested in accessing the Parents Together program in your community, please contact BGCC's
