Fidelity Investments Canada proudly supportsBoys and Girls Clubs of Canada with its national program Power Up!,an academic enhancement program aimed at helping school-aged children set and achieve their learning goals, do well in school and develop a life-long interest in learning.
Now in its eighth year, Power Up! has enabled thousands of children in nearly 100 communities across the country to improve their academic performance. Fidelity's support has enabled select Boys and Girls Clubs acrossthe countryto become official Power Up! program delivery sites and many Clubs have also created Power Up! learning environments, using materials donated by Fidelity Investments.

Power Up! provides young people the opportunity to:
- LEARN to set academic goals and create a plan for achieving those goals
- Opportunities to GROW through becoming actively engaged and self-directed in their learning
- Access to caring adult/youth volunteer tutors and mentors to support them to ACHIEVE their learning goals
- Be recognized for their participation and achievements in the program
The following Boys and Girls Clubs will receive Power Up! grants for 2009-2010:
- Alberta: Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary, Boys and Girls Club of Fort Saskatchewan
- B.C.: Cranbrook Boys and Girls Club, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Vancouver
- New Brunswick: Boys and Girls Club of Moncton, Boys and Girls Club of Grand Manan Island
- Newfoundland: Norris Arm Boys and Girls Club, Gander Boys and Girls Club
- Nova Scotia: Boys and Girls Club of Cole Harbour, Boys and Girls Club of Truro and Colchester
- Ontario: Boys and Girls Club of Brantford, Boys and Girls Club of Cornwall, St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club
- Quebec: Boys and Girls Club of Dawson (at Dawson Community Centre)
- Saskatchewan: Boys and Girls Club of Yorkton
Power Up! also includes a fun booklet for parents called, 50 tips to help your kids succeed with their education. It includes 50 simple, effective ways that parents and other caring adults can help kids succeed at learning.
