THE ISSUE

Employment is getting harder for young Canadians.

Learning loss, systemic barriers, and increased automation make it difficult for young people to find and keep jobs—especially those in equity-seeking groups. With the right resources and opportunities, youth can launch their careers with confidence.

[/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_section css=”.vc_custom_1758819560562{margin-bottom: 0px !important;padding-bottom: 0px !important;}” el_class=”pbottom-54 position-r”][vc_row el_class=”pbottom-5″][vc_column offset=”vc_col-md-offset-1 vc_col-md-10″][vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes”][vc_column_inner offset=”vc_col-md-4″]

BGC Clubs open the door to the best opportunity we can give anyone: a job.

In addition to homework-help, our career-development programs allow young people to discover, explore, and build skills so they reach their full potential—whether it’s in STEM, the arts, retail, trades, or at a Club.

[/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner offset=”vc_col-md-6″][vc_single_image image=”86890″ img_size=”full” css=”” el_class=”custom-image-padding”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner equal_height=”yes” el_class=”custom-column-padding”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″]

HELP US HELP KIDS

BGC Canada’s Learning & Development Fund provides BGC Clubs with the resources they need to give kids a brighter future.

When Club staff are given more opportunities, they’re better equipped to support the youth they serve.

[vc_btn title=”Donate” style=”solid” color=”donate_btn” align=”center” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fbgcdonors.donorsupport.co%2Fpage%2FFUNBFVAKRMA%3Fform%3Ddonatenow|title:Donate|target:_blank”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle” el_class=”pbottom-5″][vc_column_inner el_class=”custom-padding” offset=”vc_col-md-6″]

To amplify our efforts, we launched a new online learning platform: MyBGC.com.

Aimed at Club youth aged 13 to 21, Club staff, and other youth audiences, this online hub houses BGC Canada’s self-directed programs, activities, and resources. This includes youth employment, financial literacy, and mental health programs and activities to prepare youth for life after school.

Investing in this tool allows BGC Canada to offer learning and development opportunities that can have a transformative impact on both the staff and the youth we serve.

[vc_empty_space height=”2rem”][vc_btn title=”Contact our partnerships & philanthropy team” style=”solid” color=”green_btn” css=”” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bgccan.com%2Fen%2Fpartner-with-us%2Fcontact-our-partnership-team%2F|title:Contact%20our%20partnerships%20%26%20philanthropy%20team”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner offset=”vc_col-md-6″][vc_single_image image=”86882″ img_size=”full” css=”” el_class=”custom-image-padding”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner]
