Being accurately informed on what is real and fake will allow them to stay safe and aware, make good digital choices, and protect their private information.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cSocial media plays a major role in my day to day life, and in society as a whole. An opportunity to learn about hidden dangers that aren\u2019t often spoken of is exciting. Reaching out to newcomers and youth from Indigenous backgrounds will help them share information with vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cSocial media is\u00a0 rampant in today\u2019s day and age and youth are the number one users.
