Dear BGC Canada community,<\/p>\n

After ten years of dedicated service, Owen Charters, BGC Canada\u2019s President & CEO, will be stepping down effective January 9, 2026,<\/strong> to pursue a new role in nonprofit leadership.<\/p>\n

We are deeply grateful for his contributions. Under his leadership, BGC Canada strengthened programs nationwide, advanced equity and inclusion, refreshed the BGC brand, and elevated youth voices through initiatives like Youth of the Year and the Alumni Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

The Board will now begin a thoughtful transition process, including consultations and a national search for our next President & CEO.\u00a0In the meantime, our strong Leadership Team will ensure continuity and support across the organization.<\/p>\n
