D\u2019abord appel\u00e9 \u00ab Every Day Club \u00bb, il prendra plus tard le nom d\u2019\u00ab East End Boys Club of Saint John \u00bb. C\u2019est ainsi que na\u00eet le premier \u00ab Boy Club \u00bb au Canada.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"event_2\" class=\"t-event bg_pastel-blue-1\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"t-event_image\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.bgccan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/bgc-canada-logo-history-v3-scaled.jpg);\"><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content_wrapper\"><h2 class=\"t-event_heading\">1929<\/h2><div class=\"t-event_subheading\"><p>Cr\u00e9ation officielle<\/p><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content\"><p>En 1929, la \u00ab Boys\u2019 Club Federation of Canada \u00bb est officiellement cr\u00e9\u00e9e par Vernon McAdam, qui en sera le premier directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral national.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"event_3\" class=\"t-event bg_pastel-green\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"t-event_image\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.bgccan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/history-1947.jpg);\"><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content_wrapper\"><h2 class=\"t-event_heading\">1947<\/h2><div class=\"t-event_subheading\"><p>UN OBNL NATIONAL<\/p><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content\"><p>En 1947, l\u2019organisation est rebaptis\u00e9e \u00ab Boys\u2019 Clubs of Canada \u00bb. Un an plus tard, le gouvernement lui accorde le statut d\u2019organisme de bienfaisance sans but lucratif.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"event_4\" class=\"t-event bg_pastel-green\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"t-event_image\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.bgccan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/history-1974.jpg);\"><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content_wrapper\"><h2 class=\"t-event_heading\">1974<\/h2><div class=\"t-event_subheading\"><p>REPAIRES JEUNESSE DU CANADA<\/p><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content\"><p>En 1974, compte tenu du nombre croissant de filles participant aux programmes, l\u2019organisation prend le nom de Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada \u2013 Clubs gar\u00e7ons et filles du Canada. En 2015, son nom fran\u00e7ais est chang\u00e9 pour Repaires jeunesse du Canada.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"event_5\" class=\"t-event bg_pastel-teal\" tabindex=\"0\"><div class=\"t-event_image\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.bgccan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/history-2021.jpg);\"><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content_wrapper\"><h2 class=\"t-event_heading\">2021<\/h2><div class=\"t-event_subheading\"><p>D\u00e9couvrez l\u2019histoire de BGC<\/p><\/div><div class=\"t-event_content\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En mars 2021, Repaires Jeunesse du Canada\/Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada devient BGC Canada. D\u2019un oc\u00e9an \u00e0 l\u2019autre, les Clubs ouvrent leurs portes aux enfants et aux ados de tous les genres, de toutes les origines et de toutes les identit\u00e9s, ce que refl\u00e8te notre nouveau nom.
