d\u2019origine<\/span> ha\u00eftienne<\/span>, il <\/span>comprend<\/span> ce<\/span> que <\/span>vivent<\/span> les <\/span>jeunes<\/span> ainsi<\/span> que les obstacles <\/span>auxquels<\/span> Dans le cadre du programme Nouveaux arrivants, Ren\u00e9 recrute des jeunes et les aide \u00e0 devenir des leaders afin qu\u2019ils puissent, \u00e0 leur tour, accueillir les jeunes PANDC lorsqu\u2019ils arrivent dans la communaut\u00e9. Les leaders sont jumel\u00e9s \u00e0 des jeunes nouveaux arrivants, et ils les accompagnent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole, lors des activit\u00e9s ext\u00e9rieures et dans les diff\u00e9rents programmes offerts \u00e0 leur Club BGC.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Depuis 3 ans, plus de 95 jeunes leaders ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9s dans le cadre du programme Nouveaux arrivants pour aider des jeunes nouvellement install\u00e9s au Canada \u00e0 surmonter les obstacles, et pour faciliter leur adaptation \u00e0 une nouvelle communaut\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ren\u00e9, a staff member at <\/span>BGC Maison Kekpart<\/span>, is the coordinator for the Club\u2019s Newcomers Program. As someone of Haitian origin, Ren\u00e9 understands the barriers young people face when they arrive in a new community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Ren\u00e9\u2019s role in the Newcomers Program is to recruit youth and help them become leaders so they can welcome their BIPOC peers when they arrive in their community. Youth leaders are paired with newcomers and accompany them in school, during outdoor activities, and in programs held at their BGC Club.<\/span><\/p>

Over the past 3 years, over 95 youth leaders have been recruited into the Newcomers Program\u2014helping young people new to Canada overcome barriers and ease their transition into a new community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
