goeasy, Ltd. has donated $150,000 to a COVID-19 emergency relief fund that will support Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada. By repurposing this year’s planned funding to emergency relief, goeasy is helping Clubs provide the most critical and essential services in their local communities.
“As partners of the Boys and Girls Clubs for over 15 years, we know firsthand the critical role the Clubs play in the lives of so many Canadians,” said Jason Mullins, goeasy’s President and CEO. “We are heartbroken for the Clubs, their employees and the children and families they serve. Our priority is ensuring we can help keep critical programs running for those in greatest need. We know that the Clubs will come back stronger than ever, but we wanted to ensure that as they are on the frontlines of this crisis, they can continue to do the impactful work that so many Canadians have come to rely on.”
Since 2014, goeasy has invested over $2.5 million to fund the easybites program, which aims to renovate or upgrade kitchens at every Boys & Girls Club in the country by 2024.
If you’d like to help, please donate directly to your local Club or donate to our emergency relief fund, which directly supports Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.
