All local BGC are private, nonprofit community-based agencies that pay annual dues to be members of BGC Canada.

To become a BGC Club, organizations must participate in three phases of development:

Community Review

Deepen your understanding of the needs of your community and how they fit with the BGC model
(3-6 months)

Organization Development

Create a business plan to deliver services, which includes establishing a Board, incorporating, and seeking funding
(6-8 months)

Clubs are governed by an autonomous, voluntary Board of Directors comprised of local residents. Each BGC secures funding on its own from community, government, and private sources. To learn more about starting a Club, contact us today.
