This means moving beyond ceremonial recognition to create Ethical Spaces where Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives meet in mutual respect. Our work is guided by principles of Equity, Anti-Racism, and Cultural Safety, ensuring that our programs and partnerships reflect Indigenous voices and values.
We are committed to:
- Co-creating programs with Indigenous communities that are Indigenous-led and Indigenous-informed, honouring Protocols, traditions, and Ancestral Knowledge
- Building authentic relationships with Communities, Families, Children, and Youth, grounded in respect and reciprocity
- Creating Safe Third Places, spaces beyond home and school where all youth experience a true Place of Belonging, form Authentic Connections, and access Life-Changing Opportunities
- Advocating for systemic change that addresses historical truths and ongoing inequities
