Supportive relationships with peers and adults protect young people from negative outcomes and help them develop social skills that will serve them for life. BGC Clubs are an environment where positive relationships are intentionally developed and nurtured—where extraverted and introverted kids alike can create connections that matter.
At BGC, Positive Relationships is one of four key outcomes of a Club and encompasses 5 factors: connection, conflict resolution, belonging, self-acceptance, and acceptance of others. Our most recent survey data from 2024 reveals that:
