As trusted community organizations, BGC Clubs create opportunities that help young people and their families overcome barriers. Our rallying cry is No. More. Barriers. We want to celebrate leaders and changemakers in Clubs and give youth and staff a platform to tell their stories.
BGC Canada would like to acknowledge how marginalized or racialized individuals, whether Club staff, volunteers, board members, or youth, have contributed to breaking down barriers in your Club and community. If you identify as a racialized person, 2S & LGBTQIA+, woman, person living with disabilities (including invisible and episodic disabilities) or neuro-diverse, we want to share your Club story!
Stories about inspiring individuals who have made a difference for your local community will be featured on BGC Canada’s social media, websites, and SCOOP throughout the year.
Club staff members can nominate others or themselves and share Club activities by filling out the form below.
