BGC Norris Arm Club youth learn about the Indigenous history of their region - BGC Canada

A collage of five images showcases Indigenous cultural activities, including bundles of sage and sweetgrass, a drumming circle, and groups of young people working in a garden, all centered around a BGC logo.

BGC Norris Arm teaches their youth about the history behind the land on which their Club is located, and the cultures of Indigenous Peoples within their region—bridging the gap between settlers and First Nations.

Club youth at BGC Norris Arm have been able to participate in events with the Qalipu First Nations, and the Exploits Native Women’s Association. These events have helped BGC Norris Arm understand the importance of Truth and Reconciliation.
