President’s Choice Children’s Charity fights food insecurity, one backpack at a time

In honour of our amazing partnership with President’s Choice Children’s Charity, we recently launched a video showcasing the Project Backpack program.

Featuring a staff member from one of our Clubs, this video describes the impact of Project Backpack, a program that helps families overcome barriers to food security. At the end of each week, program participants bring home a backpack filled with nutritious, easy-to-prepare food that families can cook over the weekend or during time periods when Clubs or schools are unable to provide meals.

We are so grateful to President’s Choice Children’s Charity for their investment in Clubs, families, and communities across Canada.
