BGC Canada is excited to announce the launch of the Raise the Grade program, in partnership with RBC. The program, which aims to increase high school graduation rates and improve access to post-secondary education, teaches 21st century digital skills and provides mentorship to youth aged 13-19.
As part of RBC’s Future Launch Initiative, this interactive after-school program helps teens receive homework support and connect with mentors, tutors, and peers. Teens will also have the opportunity to explore their personal interests, match those interests to potential careers, and plan for post-secondary education.
Raise the Grade helps teens overcome barriers to education by giving them the skills necessary to participate in the new economy. By fostering supportive relationships and encouraging them to pursue their own interests, the program gives at-risk youth access to experiences and networks that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
