Funds raised will bring creative spaces, resources, and experiences to millions of kids in communities across North America.
This holiday season, Michaels is inviting customers to fuel the joy of creativity for the next generation of creators in their communities. From November 19, 2025, through January 31, 2026, customers at Michaels stores in the U.S. and Canada can choose to round up their purchase or donate at checkout to support Boys & Girls Clubs of America and BGC Canada (Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
The campaign supports programs that help kids tap into their creative potential — including access to art supplies, hands-on activities, and dedicated spaces where imagination and self-expression can thrive. Creativity has a measurable and demonstrated impact on young people: 71% of Boys & Girls Clubs kids in the U.S. say they can communicate their emotions through art, and 91% of kids at BGC Canada clubs say creative programs help them feel more confident and willing to try new things.
A Local Impact in the Communities We Serve
Michaels stores are deeply connected to the neighborhoods around them, and so are the Boys & Girls Clubs. In the U.S., nearly 84% of Michaels stores are within 15 miles of a Boys & Girls Club, making the round-up campaign a meaningful way for customers to directly support kids and families in their community. Every donation helps create more opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and express themselves through creativity.
How Customers Can Participate
At Michaels stores across the U.S. and Canada, customers can donate in two ways:
- At Self-Checkout: Round up their purchase to the nearest dollar.
- At Cashier-Assisted Registers: Donate $1, $3, or $5 at checkout.
All funds raised in the U.S. will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and donations in Canada will support BGC Canada.
