Meet Jordan
BGC Albion Club’s very own Jordan plays an active role supporting, motivating, and listening to youth. He’s been key to providing opportunities and skill-building for youth so they can overcome barriers—because Opportunity Changes Everything. Thank you Jordan for embodying what the BGC movement is all about!
Meet Chester
As Executive Director of BGC Cape Breton, Chester is doing everything he can to ensure Club doors stay open—he wears many different hats and fills in where he can so the Club continues to run smoothly throughout the pandemic. He is dedicated to providing opportunities for youth and supporting them in overcoming barriers.
Meet BGC Preston
BGC Preston is celebrating Black Excellence at their Club by recognizing the successes of alumni that used to be a part of their Club and are now giving back to their community. An awesome way to show youth that with the right opportunities, they can overcome their barriers and thrive.
Meet BGC Dawson
Helping young people overcome barriers since 1959, @BGCDawson provides safety, connection, representation, and opportunity for Black youth in their communities and actively engage ALL Club youth in the practice of dismantling anti-Blackness and embracing Black humanity and liberation.
Meet Ismael
Youth member, Ismael, from @BGC St. Alban’s Club is a great leader, mentor, and big brother! Having grown up in Toronto, he understands the barriers Black youth and youth of colour face every day. He hopes to become a firefighter or a police officer and continue to be a part of the solution by removing barriers for young people.
