A terrible morning in Canada. We woke up to news today of a mass shooting that occurred yesterday at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in Tumbler Ridge, BC.
Information is still coming in, but so far, 9 people are dead, and 25 are injured. Motivation is unknown.
It is incomprehensible. Your stomach drops when you hear of a tragedy like this, and you immediately get in touch with loved ones in the area to make sure everyone is safe.
Our hearts are heavy today, and our thoughts are with the victims and their families. We mourn together.
We know many children, youth and adults may be feeling scared, confused, or upset. These reactions are normal, and you aren’t alone.
