We share in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and offer our deepest condolences to the Royal Family

For so many September 8th  2022 was a very sad day. The passing of a Head of State is unique in our lifetime. 

BGC Canada has had Vice-Regal patronage throughout our history, including today. Her Excellency, the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada is our link to the Head of State, and our first Indigenous Governor General.  It is through the Governor General’s site that you can link to the commemorative events, books of condolences etc. that will remember and mourn the passing of Queen Elizabeth: https://www.gg.ca/en

As in the passing of any life of significance, let us remember the example of public service, the call to do your best for others, to build communities, and to share in our common ambitions.
